Dear Diary
You have NO idea how happy this chappy is! My mom and her “partner in crime” has been sooooo busy with them “touch up in the flat” and this bird was not impressed with the two of them at all!
I even went as far as to stop talking! If and when I felt up to it, I might ‘consider’ getting on their shoulders and then I used to take “revenge” on them with a good nip and I “purchased a title deed”on their shoulder – in the form of “you know what”! Which meant, motherdeareast has been going through “Barney shirts” like a phone call?
I am getting back to normal……chirping away……whistling and started talking. I can see the old lady is getting into the final stages of them “touch ups” in the flat! Dad, bless his soul, put his foot down and said “under no circumstances are they allowed to touch the main bedroom……yippee……the fumes and dust is no good for me! Between me and you, I personally think dad wants things to be normal and in it’s place!
The little mess I make, the old lady can clean it up! I can see it has taken its ‘toll on her’………she is ‘knackered’……lethargic and on edge to get things coming to an end.
Well, by Tuesday the latest, she should have everything in place.
Sorry to hear about all the rain in Cape Town……we are getting ready for a brrrrrr cold weekend……..them snow on the mountains again! All good, my parents are keeping me nice and warm inside!
It is now 3.51 in the morning and if the old lady think she is coming to wake me.....she is in for a lovely surprise......she should stay in the "happy room"......I am in "birdie lallaland" and having lovely dreams.
Ciao from a very busy Durbs this weekend.....I trust them 'snow on the mountain' will not reach us.
